Flare Up stores sensitive health-related information. Your logs are private to your account. This app is for personal tracking only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
What we store
Account email, encrypted password, and any health data you choose to enter: meals, ingredients, symptoms, flare severity, notes, photos, and caregiver profiles.
How we protect it
- All data is stored in an encrypted database with row-level security.
- Only the signed-in owner can read, edit, export, or delete their own records.
- Uploaded photos live in a private storage bucket and are served via short-lived signed URLs.
- We never store medical records in your browser's localStorage.
- Sessions time out automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
What we do not do
- We do not use your health data for marketing, ads, analytics, or profiling.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- We do not show sensitive health details in browser notifications.
Your rights
You can export all of your data or permanently delete every record (and your account) at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
